What's happened?
SciDev Limited (ASX:SDV) has extended its Services Agreement with CYP D&C, the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Metro Tunnel Project’s twin nine-kilometre rail tunnels and five new underground stations in Melbourne.
What are the key highlights?
- To support the provision of chemistry to the infrastructure sector, SciDev is upgrading the Kings Park Production facility to deliver an additional 12,000T of production capacity pa (approximately a 3x expansion of the facility).
- SciDev’s expansion into new verticals such as infrastructure highlight the Company’s ability to deliver bespoke professional services, engineering, and chemistry solutions across a range of industries and geographies.
- SciDev will be focusing on maximising the operational dewatering of two TBMs building the eastern section of the Metro Tunnel as it moves through changing ground conditions.
- The provision of SciDev’s bespoke MaxiDry® chemistry will be delivered via the Company’s dedicated experts deployed on site, who continue to be engaged on a schedule of rates and quantities.
