SciDev's Maxiflox® chemistry has received a trial order for the Las Bambas copper mine, which produces ~400,000 tonnes of copper per annum and has an expected mine life of 20 years. SciDev’s MaxiFlox® chemistries will be utilised to improve water recovery and increase the available volume in the mines tailings storage facility.
This commercial trial is the result of earlier successful technical evaluations that SciDev conducted during CY2019.

We view this announcement as another piece of evidence that SciDev are able to turn successful technical evaluations into trials for the purpose of moving towards longer term supply agreements, similar to the $8-$12m agreement for Iluka's Jacintha-Ambrosia mine. Additional successful technical evaluations leading to trials could result in future revenue momentum if they continue to mature through the sales cycle. The recent Highland Fluid Technology acquisition ("Highland") announcement stated that successful technical and commercial evaluations had also been completed with Highland and its customer base.
